Description
Invaders is a computer adaptation of Space Invaders. It works like the arcade game with the player moving left and right while shooting at wave after wave of alien attackers. It also has the main features of the game: barricades that offer protection and mystery ships that at times appear at the top of the screen. The game's controls are a bit different from other games of its kind. Pressing a movement key causes the cannon to move in that direction until the player manually stops it or changes direction. Also when reaching the edge of the screen the cannon bounces back and starts moving in the opposite direction.
The game includes a user-modifiable parameter file which allows the player to customize the behaviour of the game. This includes movement speeds, amount of enemy projectiles and number of lives. It is also possible to change the game's graphics.
