Description
The Super Nintendo Entertainment System: Super NES Classic Edition, known as the Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Entertainment System (Europe/Australia) is a miniature replica of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) with 21 pre-installed games running on emulation software, with the option to save data only.
Twenty games are playable immediately, whilst the 21st and last game Star Fox 2, unlocks after clearing the first level of the original Star Fox. This is the first global release of Star Fox 2 through legal means, besides bootlegs, on an official platform. This compilation also means the first PAL/European release for Earthbound and Super Mario RPG. The European release uses the US (NTSC) release title in it's menu. Of the twenty-one games in the compilation, five were USA (NTSC) / PAL specific and weren't available in the Japanese Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Famicom version:
