Q Boy
Description
On a planet in the Q Galaxy, there exists the Rainbow Flower. One day the evil Dr. Mouse steals the Rainbow Flower and plans to use it to rule the planet. The brave Q-Boy must defeat Dr. Mouse and get the Rainbow Flower back.
Q Boy is a platformer superficially resembling a Kirby game, but playing somewhat differently. The main character has a limited, recharging power meter that is used to blow out puffs of air, which can be used to do multiple jumps in the air, or can be fired against enemies. Enemies are defeated by using the air puffs to push them into walls or into each other. If the power meter is fully discharged, Q Boy becomes exhausted and is unable to move until the meter has fully recharged. There are five worlds with four stages each. Each world ends with a boss fight and has a bonus stage where extra lives can be won.

Alternative Sprites
The game contains an alternative set of sprites for the main character and many items and enemies, resembling a Super Mario game. These alternate sprites can be toggled on and off during gameplay by pressing Select while paused.### Jurassic Boy Cameo
In the ending cutscene, the character Chen from the game Jurassic Boy can be seen flying by in the background.### Working Title
The original working title of the game seems to have been "Puff Kid", which is still spelled out in large letters in the last stage of the game.
