No One Can Stop the Farm Pioneer

Who can stop the farm pioneer? No one can! This game was designed for the VNGN competition and is set in space. The player controls a farm pioneer who can move around a planet somewhat similar to Super Mario Galaxy and Frozzd. At its core, it is a farmer simulation with shreds of space colonization. The planet's resources are divided over wood, wheat and meat. Players need to carefully balance what is available. Trees can be chopped but some need to be left so they can drop acorns. Wheat feeds the farmer and his wife, but it is also needed for the cows. Cows provide meat, but you need to keep a male and a female left at all times to ensure population.

Set against a dark background with vibrant colours and eerie music, the farmer is given tasks such as finishing his house, building fences, feeding himself and the kids (after a visit to his wife at home) and more. He can also construct fences to keep the cows together and look after his offspring (as many as you want, but they need to be fed!) It is also possible to board a spacetruck and explore space. Nearby planets can be colonized by bringing along acorns and seeds. That way, additional resources can be created to serve the home planet or to expand the farm pioneer's domain.

The game is controlled through the cursor keys with three additional buttons to use, pick up or harvest.
