Wolfram
Description
Wolfram is a modern remake of Wolfenstein 3D, rebuilt from scratch using the Volatile3D II engine developed in-house. The game contains the entire first episode Escape from Wolfenstein: nine main levels and one secret level. All of the geometry, gameplay, and enemy and item placement was kept intact. The concept of lives was removed, but levels are restarted automatically when protagonist B.J. Blazkowicz dies.
The modern elements added to the game include improved graphics with a full 3D design, enemies that are able to crouch, and a reloading system. The four included weapons are a knife, luger, mp40 and mg42. Opponents also need to reload and have access to a secondary attack. There is a quick save and reloading system, the ability to toggle sprinting, full mouse look, and more. It also incorporates in-game achievements.
The game is offered in three versions: US (full English version), Russian (full Russian version), and European (does not include Nazi symbols).
