The installation doesn't seem to work properly. When I run it, it wants to install the game under /king (I definitely prefer when DOS games can accomodate modern longer folder paths) - but if I accept, the installation just closes without "saying" anything and I still can't run the game itself. Plus: is the correct game file king.bat or exe.exe? When I tried the first one (after no success with the exe file), the program said the control sum doesn't match or something like that... as if I knew what control sums are...

This could be an alternative (I downloaded it there too): http://www.old-games.com/download/1429/les-manley-in-search-for

When you choose "Download - Easy Setup" the download includes Dos-Box. In the game folder there is a Windows Batch file named "START THE GAME" which does exactly what it suggests. It´s working fine on my PC.

I would prefer not to download a game-emulator set. I already use D-Fend Reloaded and I like it because of its screenshot collecting option.

I have similar problems when trying to run some of my older original games. So I am interested in a solution to this problem too.

It's a sign: G-d does not want you to play this game.

Even if you get it working, you will see variations of this sign, over and over again.

It, uh, it has some problems.

I have some "Virtual HD" for installing games which require old standards such as short access paths. However, it was created by someone who understands more about computers (my cousin, to be more precise) and set mine up for me. How do I make games install themselves there?
