Overview edit · view history
EA Sports is a long-running brand of Electronic Arts, Inc. for all its sports titles. When the company was reorganized in June 2007, it became a publishing label as well, lead by Joel Linzner.
From 2000 to 2008, the EA Sports BIG / Freestyle sub-brand was used for extreme sports games and more casual-oriented titles.
The most prolific studios which have released games under the EA Sports label are EA Vancouver, EA Orlando (ex-Tiburon), EA Romania, Codemasters (as of 2020) and Metalhead Software (as of 2021). Former affiliated studios include, among others, Image Space, the internal development team of EA Cologne (later spun out to Bright Future), EA Black Box/Jawbreaker and HB Studios Multimedia.
