ZeniMax is a combination of two words Zenith+Maximum. Zenith being defined as the highest point reached in the heavens. A culmination point if you will. And maximum as the greatest quantity or value attainable. Those together encapsulated the hope for the company’s future and its impact within the industry. In Japanese Zeni means money.
People who worked for ZeniMax included politicians like Terry McAuliffe, Tony Coelho, George J. Mitchell as well entertainment types like Dean Devlin, Sam Simon and Jon Feltheimer.
