You Will Die

Moby ID: 74956

Description

You Will Die is a bullet hell shoot'em up. While the background technically moves, it still belongs to the fixed screen category because the player fights only against a single space ship. The problem is, each time it is defeated it just becomes stronger! Basically the opponent ship has one main component, but in each round it grows one or multiple attachments which need to be destroyed before the ship itself can be damaged. Because each attachment can shoot, the game is full of projectiles to dodge. The player has a health bar and never gains health back, but - if enough points were earned beforehand - can activate a shield which protects from bullets, but also decreases the earned score considerably. The ultimate goal is to earn a high enough score for the high score list.
