Athleticland

Athleticland is a side-scrolling race game where you must guide the Disney cartoon character Mickey Mouse to the finish line in the shortest possible time, while avoiding various obstacles. You can jump over things, duck to avoid things that are overhead, or stop to wait for something to clear your path. Hitting an obstacle will lose time, and you have a limited amount to complete the race.

Each race has five stages. In the first, you are on a mountain path, avoiding caterpillars that appear from the trees, and moles that emerge from the ground. In the second, you race along a log track over a river and you must jump gaps and avoid swarms of bees. In the third stage, you must leap over running wild boar. The fourth stage is in a pond, and you must jump on the backs of turtles before they submerge. The final stage has more moles and bees. If you reach the end before your time elapses, you will be greeted by Minnie Mouse and awarded bonus points. The game then repeats from the first stage.
