ThunderCats

ThunderCats is a 2D action game played from a side view perspective based on the American animated series Thundercats. The game takes place on the fictional planet 'Third Earth' in the cat kingdom of Thundera. The game starts with an expedition force of the cat kingdom returning triumphed with several lizard people prisoners. The euphoria soon dissipates. The army of the lizard people has followed the expedition force back to the capital city and to make matters worse, the general in charge of the expedition has defected to the lizards.

In the game the player takes control of Lion-O and has to fight through hordes of lizard people to save his father’s kingdom. Lion-O is armed with a sword and can do several types of attacks including jump and special attacks. Enemies include different types of lizards using both melee and range attacks. The life bar of the player can be replenished by picking up food. Besides the regular enemies there are also boss fights. The player can also shortly summon Tygra, WilyKit and WilyKat, Cheetara and Panthro for support.
