Buka is one of the largest and oldest Russian computer games publishers. The company publishes Russian projects and localizations of foreign projects. Among its partners are both Russian developers and foreign publishers. Their games are sold in 70 countries of the world and are localized for 15 languages, including Japanese and Chinese.

In July 2008 the company was acquired by its main competitor, 1C Company.

The founders of the company are Igor Ustinov (Игорь Устинов), Alexander Mikhailov (Александр Михайлов).
