We'd love your feedback! We've just launched a short survey to learn more about our MobyGames users and inform our development roadmap! Survey responders will be rewarded with 1 month of free MobyPro (at end of the survey period), but we will also run a giveaway of two $100 Amazon Gift Cards among all respondents who complete the survey.
There have been several more updates this week, as well:
- The Itch.io scraper will no longer add covers without platforms.
- You'll have to add covers manually for games that don't support Android, iOS, Windows, or Linux. We can't guess the right platform automatically.
- Identifiers can now be added to new games from the "contribute additional content" screen.
- Entering credits with "(credited as X)" will no longer overwrite the name.
- Entering credits like "Foo (credited as Bar)" will now attempt to match people named either "Foo" or "Bar".
- Related sites can now have URLs longer than 256 characters.
- Related games with the same title will no longer needlessly show up in the See Also list.
- YouTube shorts can now be submitted as game trailers.

A đ on the identifier change, but please fix Xbox identifier generating a Windows release instead of a Windows App release.

Related games with the same title will no longer needlessly show up in the See Also list.
What is the See Also list for then? I thought it only displayed different games with the same title and nothing else? And that was useful for licensed games, i.e. "for this movie, there was not only this console game, but also GBA and mobile versions".

Right, that's what it is for. But if there is for example a Remake that is related (with an approved Game Relation), then it would have shown up both in the Remake list and also the See Also list at the bottom.
For example, this Mass Effect 2 has the other one listed as its "Original" game. Since it shows up there, it's not necessary to also show it in the "See Also" list.
...and I've just realized that there's a bug stopping non-related games from showing up in the See Also list! That's not the intention. The games that aren't already connected with a relation should continue to show up in the See Also list. I'll fix this.
