Well, I certainly hit last year's goal of reaching 5000 VNs, seeing as the number in our database has jumped from 4755 to 6227 since then. VNDb's number has grown from 47199 to 52281 in that time. It's a fool's errand trying to catch up to VNDb, especially when it's usually only me adding VNs here compared to an entire community over on that site, but I'll still continue to add as many as I can.

Last year, I continued working on the related goal of documenting all games on the OOParts platform, which would be great to complete this year.

I also dedicated much of last year to adding as many adult games as possible. We went from 5000 in October 2023 to 7000 in May 2024, and the current number stands at 8722. It would be great if we could hit 10,000 by the end of this year, which would mean we'd have doubled our number of adult games in only two years!

Last year was a good year for my backlog. I finally found a way to defeat my choice paralysis by adding all unplayed games into a spreadsheet and play them chronologically. There were a few breaks for current and special games, but I managed to finish 65 games and kick off many more games from my active list. I am currently in 2021 and my goal is to finish 2024 by the end of the year.

I finished my eXoWin3.x project during the first few months of 2024, but afterwards I concentrated almost exclusively on playing games. My goal for 2025 is to process at least B to D in eXoDOS.

I haven't been that active last year and has just been slowly making some progress on some browser games I remember from the top of my head. I hope this year I can get some steam and get quite a few more games in, especially old browser games that are being forgotten in the dust of time! At least just finish adding the list of games I made.

I plan on finishing up the BBC Micro. I'm nearly done with that system. I then need to decide what system I want to do next. Suggestions? Preferably something with no more than a few hundred games.

I also want to add compilation relations to all games up until at least the year 2000. 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990 done so far. Over 2000 relations added.
