Acornsoft Games Pack 7

Acornsoft Games Pack 7 is a collection of three games.

• Green Things is a text based strategy game where the player has to kill alien life forms aboard a space ship. The ship contains a number of rooms linked by corridors and the player has to move from room to room, pick up weapons and kill the aliens. The effects of the weapons on the aliens are unknown and the player has to figure that out. Aliens that are not dealt with will grow, lay eggs and move around.

• Ballistics is an Artillery variant that is played by two players who take turns firing shells at each other. Shots are taken by entering the velocity of the shell followed by the initial angle of the shell. The direction and velocity of the wind and the shape of the hill have to be taken into account.

• Snake is a typical variant of a snake game. The aim is to eat digits and the length of the snake will then be increased by the value of the digit. The game is lost upon colliding with a wall or the body of the snake.
