Aabatron

Aabatron is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro and Electron.

In the year 2148, the player must save planet Earth by clearing the Aabatron Central Planet Control of mean Puon aliens using their trusty blaster buggy.

The player controls a small character that moves in the cardinal directions and fires directly forwards. At the start of each stage, a few enemy units move about the edge of the screen and fire towards the player while most enemy units stay dormant in the center. The player can shoot moving or stationary enemies, but some can't be defeated while dormant. If the player defeats all enemies they move to the next stage. The player starts with three lives, and loses a life if shot by an enemy.
