Pencil & Paper

Pencil & Paper is a simple puzzle game where you draw the path the player unit must walk in order to collect all the stars and get to the end of each level. In a way this game could be considered a precursor to Floating Islands Game, I suppose?

This was made during a time when I was way more gung-ho about copying ideas and aesthetics from other games, and both P & P and BulletZORZ lift a lot from Petri Purho's Crayon Physics, to the point that P & P uses the exact same audio track. Sorry Petri!

In 2008 I entered a game competition where the idea was to make a game in a very limited number of 'events', i.e. lines Multimedia Fusion's visual code. I made another game for that, but also made a version of P & P that fit the limitation. I'm including that version here because it has different levels & music than the original. I've also edited the games a bit in order to make some assets more visible, among other things.
